Bangsarian His-story Walk
This walk will showcase some of the significant historical landmarks of Bangsar: from a rubber estate and how it evolved into an affluent neighborhood/ hippie pub area in Klang Valley.
We will started off at the MRT station that overlook the origin house of village head Abdullah Hukum (one of the oldest Malay settlement in Klang Valley), TNB (the central electrical board), the original site of pumping station for tin mining activity in earlier days, one of oldest kopitiam, the local media and printing cluster, the Indian temple and end up at few shophouses that survived through the redevelopment progress since 1960s, which is walking distance to the Public Health Institute that was once upon a time an elite hospital.
